Short and Sweet

This morning, Anna asked me to run with her down the quad as she had not gone running in a while. It was the perfect morning to go as very few people were there since it was raining a bit and since it was in the low 40's.  It was short and sweet, but I loved the time with Anna. It is hitting me that our girl will be headed off to college soon, and I admit that as excited as I am for her to spread her wings, I've had a few teary moments over the last few weeks too as I know that our time with her is running short. 





Colter, I am praying for you for God to give you some short and sweet 
moments today that bring you JOY!

The Color Purple

Every spring, the park near us bursts out the purple color with these wild bluebells, and it is nothing less than spectacular. One whole hillside is overtaken by the splendor.
